There will be major news emerging from Emaar Entertainment, the leisure business of Emaar, the global developer based in Dubai.

Latham

Emaar recently brought in Damien Latham to head up its attractions business, and Latham has in the past few months been busily putting together a high experienced team to develop the leisure business of Emaar.

Emaar has many developments under way across the region, many of them with leisure & entertainmentelements. The company is best known for The Dubai Mall and its entertainment attractions, KidZania, Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo and the newly opened VR Park.

Although the group has other assets, including new multiplex cinemas opening under the Reel Cinemas banner, it is widely expected that much more is to come. At the DEAL trade show in Dubai, InterGame caught up with Latham to check on the progress.

“Emaar has a number of upcoming developments that will have entertainment and leisure attractions. “We are planning to bring unique concepts to the region at these developments and we expect to release details of the next month.”

Already in the news in the UAE is Emaar Entertainment’s unique four-screen ‘dine-in’ licensed cinema concept at Jebel Ali on the outskirts of Dubai - Guy Fieri’s Kitchen & Bar and Dine-in Cinema by Reel Cinemas at the Jebel Ali Recreation Club. Latham made it clear that there is much, much more to come from Emaar Entertainment.
